Chip Colwell-Chanthaphonh, Ph.D., Research Associate

Chip is a Visiting Scholar at the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Cambridge, Massachusetts. While a Preservation Fellow at the Center for Desert Archaeology, he conducted his dissertation research in the San Pedro Valley, obtaining a Ph.D. from Indiana University, Department of Anthropology. He has published more than a dozen journal articles and book chapters, and is author (with T. J. Ferguson) of History is in the Land (2006) and editor (With K. D. Vitelli) of Archaeological Ethics (2006).
